Community Day

What is Community Day? In the past, it was known as T-Shirt Day—a special occasion when the Band revealed the theme for the year. Initially, it was an exclusive event for band members and their families. However, more recently, it has become an inclusive celebration for the entire Avon community, fostering excitement for the upcoming year. Last year marked a significant change, the Football team and Avon QB Club were invited to participate, strengthening the relationship between the two groups.
How you can get involved?
- Concessions and support: The Avon QB Club will be working concessions during the event.
- Raffle Donations: Please keep an eye out for requests from your Class Group Liaisons regarding donations for raffle prizes (Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior groups).
Participate in the exciting events:
- Vendor and Food Trucks: Enjoy a variety of food options from multiple vendors.
- Performances: Be entertained by the Avon Step Team, Cheerleaders, Gold Majorette Club, and the Band.
- Flag Football Game: Witness the thrilling matchup between the Football team and the Band. Who will hold the trophy this year? (Football team won inaugural Game)
- Halftime Show: Football players will learn and perform part of the band’s choreography.
- 2023 Show Introduction: The Band Director will unveil the theme for the upcoming year.
- Raffles and 50/50: Participate for a chance to win prizes!
