Avon knocked off its second straight champ…
AVON — The Class 6A regional Friday at Avon was a prove-it game for both the host Orioles and visiting Cathedral.
For No. 6 Avon, the game offered a chance to capture the program’s first regional title since 2005 and show that it belongs in the conversation with the elite of Indiana high school football.
